One of Red Torpedo’s first-ever mountain bike athletes and our first female ambassador, Hattie Harnden represents fearless talent, determination, and the spirit of competition. A deal was made in October last year, and alongside teammate Reece Wilson, she visited RT in November, quickly showing her enthusiasm for joining the brand. Hattie competes with AON Racing, where she races alongside Reece and has already made her mark on the downhill mountain biking scene. Known for her technical skill, composure under pressure, and relentless drive, she consistently challenges the very best and delivers strong results on some of the toughest courses in the world.

History Maker

Hattie Harnden made history at Les Gets in August 2026, claiming her first ever Elite Downhill World Cup victory with an incredible run on one of the toughest and most unpredictable tracks of the season.

The result was historic in more ways than one. Riding her belt-driven gearbox bike, Hattie became the first rider ever to win an Elite DH World Cup on a belt-driven bike, also claiming the €100,000 Gates Belted Purse in the process.

A huge moment for Hattie, AON Racing and British downhill racing — and the latest chapter in an already remarkable career that continues to break boundaries across multiple disciplines.
