One of Red Torpedo’s first-ever mountain bike athletes and our first Scot, Reece Wilson embodies everything about his home turf - speed, grit, and a fearless approach to competition. A deal was sealed in October 2025, and by November he was visiting RT, making it clear how excited he was to work with a Scottish brand.
Making his mark
Reece has quickly made his mark on the international downhill scene. A UCI Mountain Bike World Champion, he has secured multiple World Cup podiums and consistently challenges the very best on the toughest tracks in the world. He races with his own team, AON Racing, demonstrating his leadership and commitment to the sport as much as his raw talent. 2026 marked another huge moment in Reece Wilson’s comeback story, as he returned to the Elite Downhill World Cup podium at La Thuile with an outstanding third-place finish.
It was a powerful statement from the Scottish World Champion and a reminder of exactly what Reece is capable of at the highest level of downhill racing. The result marked his fifth Elite World Cup podium, rewarding the hard work and determination behind his return to the sharp end of the sport.
AON Racing teammate Hattie Harnden would go on to make history at Les Gets just weeks later, making 2026 a landmark season for the team and its riders.
